When you create an ecourse, there is a LOT more to the whole process than just creating the ecourse. In other words, you just can't create it, stick it up on a website, and have a message "subscribe to my ecourse".
The process is actually a whole business model process.
Let me go through a 5 step process to a great ecourses that sell.
Sales Statement - Before anyone will subscribe to any kind of an ecourse, they have to have a reason to do so.
More so than because "they want to".
A sales page, or sales statement, gives them not just the reason, but the "I must have this" type of feeling.
Opt In - Of course, no one can get an ecourse unless they first subscribe to it.
If there is no place for someone to subscribe, they can't get your ecourse.
Oh, and NEVER EVER subscribe someone without them knowing.
This is NEVER good business.
Intro Email - OK, after someone subscribes to your ecourse, they expect something right away.
They are excited because they've ASKED to get information from you. Sending out an introductory email is both polite and business effective.
Grab them with a 'Hello, this is what you'll be getting from me" type of email.
Actual Ecourse - Finally, now is the actual ecourse that is to be delivered. I'm not getting into ecourse creation here, I have tons of information on how to do it.
Offer For Continuing Education Or Product - At the end of your ecourse, you MUST ALWAYS present some sort of product offer or continuing education.
You've already got a volunteer customer, so act on it.
Offering something for the subscriber to continue on with you is just good old fashion business. Which comes back to what I said at the beginning, having a good business model.
Matter of fact, once you present your offer at the end, then you can start this whole process over again for your next product or ecourse.
See, this stuff isn't hard!
